Discover TechNATA Unlocked

This is the first Discover Technata Unlocked event, as part of a series of VIP events for a curated group of students from Eastern Ontario's leading post-secondary institutions. Attendees will get the chance to enhance their knowledge of Kanata North companies and engage with executives from around the Tech Hub by guest lectures and networking opportunities. CU ChangeMakers Program Final Pitch Night

RBCx Stage in CU@Kanata

The Innovation Hub at Carleton University has returned with their second Changemaker Challenge. The goal of the Changemaker program is to provide students with the confidence, tools, and support to explore and communicate top-notch solutions. Students will enter the program with the desire to make an impact and leave motivated about how they can. There are 30 exclusive spots open for students from every faculty on campus, along with an incredible $10,000 prize purse for winners of the Final Pitch Competition.

Canada-wide Responsible AI conference for Ethical Adoption and Deployment

With the rise of smart technology, Artificial Intelligence is now touching more parts of our lives and the world of business than ever before. This introduces a need to place trust in algorithms that constantly evolve as machines learn how to do specific tasks more effectively or to address new challenges. This event will be delivered in a hybrid format, consisting of a synchronous simulcast of keynote speakers and panel discussions on topics in AI (across 5 provinces in 7 different locations), followed by plenary and networking sessions delivered live, locally in Kanata. The Knowledge Society (TKS) Student Showcase

Consulting for IKEA, Walmart, and the United Nations. Building on the blockchain, creating with CRISPR, innovating with AI. What sounds like a bucket list to most, was a happy reality for this year's class of TKS Ottawa students. Over the last 10 months, these high school aged students explored how they can use emerging technology, foundational mindsets, and 21st century skills to tackle some of our world's biggest problems. Students will proudly be showcasing their projects at Hub350 in the RBCx Finance Quarter.

ExecTuesday is a networking/presentation evening we host on the second Tuesday of each month for senior members of our technology community.

AIoT Transistor Tech Tour

AIoT Canada is pleased to host one of the stops of this nation-wide tour. The tour kicks off in May, making 62 stops from coast to coast. All events will include free food, beverages, and promotional items. CyberPower will be joined by WatchGuard, Targus, Promethean, Logitech, Buffalo, StarTech, Lenovo, Aruba, Acer, Ergotron, MS TEAMS, Vendasta and more! In addition, CyberPower will donate $2CDN to the Terry Fox Foundation for each attendee.

In addition, the “IoT workshop”: “How to Ensure that current product firmware are evaluated to minimal level of assurance” will occur at Hub350 from 1:00pm-2:30pm

TiE Women Local Pitch

TiE Women’s program is a sustainable and easy-to-adapt programming platform built on our six pillars of Learning, Mentoring, Access to Funding, Scalability, Safe Space, and Community. It is an initiative of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Global. TiE has supported entrepreneurs by offering education, mentorship, networking, and funding opportunities to 15,000 members (including over 3000 charter members or mentors) in 61 chapters across 14 countries. This event will see 10-minute pitch presentations with 5 minute Q&A.
